Isaiah's First Day of School
It was hard to give Isaiah his wings on the first day of school. I am so glad Josiah took the day off (I needed the morale support). I had been anxious for this day to come. Before the bus arrived he was racing up and down the sidewalk and then the big moment came. On the bus, Josiah had to peel him off and he shot us a look of sheer terror. When the bus was out of sight I knew I could let it go. I was having a good cry while pushing the stroller back home. Sara kept crying and asking to see Isaiah's pictures. When we got home Abby who noticed she was the only one not crying didn't want to be left out and added to the waterworks. As we looked at video and pictures of Isaiah Josiah mentioned "it's not a memorial." Two hours later we went and checked on him. His teacher and the principal said he was doing great. When he came home he said "Everything got better when I got to my classroom." He is amazing on his first day he had already made 2 friends and was eager to get to school the next day. What did I learn from this experience? Don't underestimate your child.

This is the cutest picture of Isaiah I have ever seen!!!! I love that little boy!
So funny!! I think Trenton's reaction to his first day made it easier on me. He was like "bye MOM. Time for you to go!"
Ahhhhh . . . how sweet!!! Good to write this stuff down!!! (:
